We live in Baku Azerbaijan and are looking for a pointer type dog. We have seen a blue gray short haired dog for sale but the shop says it's a Great Dane. My question is - do they come in this colour?

What Pointers or Great Danes ?? If the shop says that it is a Great Dane then maybe they have insider information :-) As far as I know you can not get a blue pointer, that is unless you consider a weimaraner to be blue? Great Danes do come in blue.
