And to you too - I can't wait to open the huge parcel that hubby has put under the tree, I can't imagine what's in a box that big!! :-D
- By kazz Date 18.12.11 08:59 UTC
In this house it would be a slightly smaller box until I get down to a matchbox....... :)

To everyone May I wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a Happy Healthy 2012.
- By sillysue Date 18.12.11 09:47 UTC
Christmas is a bitter/sweet time. Happiness to be with family and loved ones, both 2 and 4 legged variety, and sad for all of us that have had to make those awful decisions this year leaving that empty space in your home. So be strong and enjoy the moment of being together, and to you all I wish a wonderful Christmas and an even happier 2012

Wishing you all a very Happy Christmas and all the very best for 2012.

Thank you for all your help in all matters dog related.  Comments and objections to planning re: Beili Bedw with (196 dogs) were particulary appreciated. Sadly planning agree to permission and as predicted another is following in the footsteps I will be posting details soon.

A Happy Healthy and Successful Christmas & New Year to everyone.
- By hairyloon [gb] Date 21.12.11 11:03 UTC
Wishing everyone a very Happy Christmas & Successful New Year and a big Thank You to all who have supported me through losing my beloved little Stitch at the beginning of this year, and my darling old Mog a couple of months ago.

Our house will feel a little emptier this Christmas without the cat & dog loitering for turkey treats, shredding the wrapping paper and generally making a big old silly nuisance of themselves :) but we'll raise a glass and remember them.

Have a lovely time all, however you're celebrating the festive season!

Viv hope the new year is a good year for the new start for your business :-)

I have time to reflect about this year and it has been one of the most stressful and upsetting years I think I have had since my Dad died 13 years ago.

I have however also had some fantastic times as this year we managed a holiday which we have not had chance for the last three years and it was great. Bitter sweet though as never ever thought it would be the last holiday we had with my lovely Moose :-(

I am however going to make sure that the time off now is all about looking forward to next year as I think as the one of my favourite tracks at the moment I do have a good feeling :-)

Still haven't got Moose back yet as I was really hoping that my Christmas morning walk I could take her ashes with us and send her on her way down the brook chasing the ducks for one last time.

I hope everybody has a lovely break when ever you get time off as imagine some of you will be working over Christmas .

Washed my 3 this afternoon so they'd look pretty for the in-laws, not that it will make us any more popular, but at least I tried. Then I spent some time trying to get a pic of them all in front our our Christmas tree, but George insisted in looking half asleep, Ellie was staring very meaningfully at the camera demanding treats, and Hetty always scowls in pictures, so not very successful. :-D
- By Whistler [gb] Date 27.12.11 10:10 UTC
Our friends gave us a picture (one each) of our dogs in the glass curved frames? Beautiful gift and for once you can see Whistler clearly, he always looks like a black blob always moving I was touched that they knew so well what w would cherish.
Here's to 2012, my OH has booked flights to USA to see our friends on 18th Jan so we can get away and the dogs are with their always kennel friend that has them in the house with an astro turf back yard so doggie bliss there.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and will have a happy New Year.

Fingers crossed that next year will be a good one for everyone.

PS What was in that big box Lucy?
- By LucyDogs [gb] Date 28.12.11 21:33 UTC
Hi Paula! It was my huge enormous rucksack for taking on my sailing holiday next year - the box was a fair bit wider than the rucksack, and the rucksack we'd bought my brother-in-law didn't come in a box at all, so I was completely baffled! But it's a 60 or 70 litre rucksack so I can take wellies, sleeping bag and 10 days of clothing on a small schooner where no suitcases are allowed. It has tons of compartments and zips, and even a little rucksack on the front which completely detaches so you can put the big one in the hold if you're flying out, which we are, and use the little one as a carry on bag. Brilliant!! :-D
