Does anyone want to start a new business but doesn't know what to do! Well here is an idea for you, open up a wash and dry dog bedding service. I will be your first customer!

The reason i say this is because i have justed washed and dried my dogs bedding and now the washine machine & tumble dryer are full of dog hairs, which i have now got to wipe out before putting my own washing in. I hate hairs!!

I agree, and you'r not allowed to take them to launderettes either! When my last washing machine died I couldn't find a new one with the same removable mesh filter to catch the dog hairs, so now I have to wait till the drum dries then hoover it before washing anything else, it's a major pain! So... yes... a business collecting dirty and delivering clean and dry dog bedding and towels, I'd pay for that :-)

If you have a saddlery local to you they should know horse rug washing people.  We used to have a lady called for rugs, numnahs etc and take them them away to launder and repair, she would also take dog beds.  Very handy for big beds that don't fit in washing machines. 

Put the dog bedding inside an old single quilt cover and do the cover up before you put it in the washing machine. The hairs remain inside the quilt cover and the bedding washes clean.

We used to have the same problem but Horse Hair Bags are great.

Hi Tricolours google or go on e-bay to see them.Basically a bag which you put items in before you stick them in the washing machine.Stops hair going through the machine.

i got one of those from"rideaway"its pretty good.I expect you could wash trainers etc in it as well.

Very true! I keep having to try to clear up the worst of it before hubby finds all the hairs, as he does tend to whinge about the hairiness of our house. Unfortunately he married a total slob, and he knew that beforehand, though admittedly he didn't know I was going to develop a spaniel obsession shortly after! :-D

Horse Hair Bag, Numbnah bag, duvet, or big doggy bed zip up cover ... pretty much the same thing. Bag to put your doggy wash in to collect doggy hairs so it doesn't go into main part of washing machine.

I'd intended getting one of these when I took delivery of my new washing machine. As it turns out I thought I'd be feeling rather bereft without my clothes covered in the usually doggy fluff :-)

I have always found them to be colourfast, even when washing vetbed at a high temp.

Mine is gaily whirling away inside the washing machine as we speak, pull it out and chuck it in tumble, simples.

I have a dog that shreds bedding so find it great for his vetbed as I always end up washing loads of bits instead of nice big pieces.
