Does anyone have any experience of their dog receiving blood ? I've just come across someone who's dog had bone marrow that wasn't producing enough red cells, the vets couldn't find what the cause was but after a few transfusions the dogs marrow kicked back into action and was fine. I know it's a bit of a long shot but feel it's worth asking about when I'm back at the vets on Tuesday.
