I know we have all talked about this but did we ever find a reasonable priced supplier of the spray.

My vet is quite good btu thought if I could get it on line or by order it would save a trip.. :-)

have you tried canine chemists online Pam?

don't know the addy but if you type in canine chemists uk into google it will come up

How much do you pay for it? I pay €12 for the small bottle, but it lasts for ages, that's about £8

Think Vetmedic Pharmacy and Canine Chemists do both sell Frontline, but they're 'prescription only' so aren't shown in the usual adverts. If you phone them, they'll give you prices, and you can then evaluate cost with a prescription charge from your vet.

No problem. Re. your next message, I always get wormers on-line, no prescription is required and no postage is usually charged where wormers are ordered - and they're definitely cheaper. (Even better if you can get special 'show offers'.)

I buy the bulk Panacur 10%, a litre is £55 and 500ml £38 I think. I bought the litre as it is valid until 2007!

If I have a litter I use 200ml for starters in worming bitch in whelp and then the pups. then add another 100ml to do the other adults at the same time as when pups get their second dose, I use quite a lot, as 400ml over a year to do the girls. Aslos I let freinds have it for their dogs at cost.

Last time I bought from vet about 6 months ago, he charged £25 for the very big one 500 mls. Looks like me will go along to vets, need to get wormers also so thought I would just see if I could pick them all up reasonable.

I get wormers very cheaply from Beestons. it's a lot cheaper than my local vet and they deliver very quickly.

That is good, as I paid £35 for that size about 2 years ago. down here they are charging over £20 for the 250ml!!!
- By Brainless [gb] Date 14.01.03 13:34 UTC
I have bought the 250ml bottle for around £8 when in Poland, is this the one you refer to as the small bottle, as they also do a 125ml one, usually dispensed for little dogs and cats?

I ordered some on line from the states, paying about 2/3rds UK price, but when it arrived I was smacjked with excise duty, and postal charges fro the above, which actually made it cost the same as here!!!

I would love to have a mail order EU supplier, as then Duty wouldn't be a problem. Is there any vet pharamacy in Eire that wil mail order??? Mari???

I onluy have one bottle (enough for my four) for March, after that I am completely out until my Dad goes on holiday in the summer.

Brainless,

Yep I was referring to the 250 ml bottle
No current vet pharmacy in Ireland who do mail order.

We always buy Frontline from the petshop in Boulogne when we do a "booze-cruise" for the necessary supplies! It works out about £19 rather than the £25 from the vet (for the same sized bottle)
