Can't email you, as I don't have your email address. But can tell you my experience.
When I bought my static, I made enquiries to sites that allowed letting, and private sites who would remove your van if you were found letting.
I decided on a private site, purely because I would know everyone near me, as it would always be the same people. As I would be staying alone in the van, I would be nervous if a load of young kids came back to their van in the early hours, drunk and noisy. So I chose to suit my needs.
It costs around £2,000 a year in site fees. The sites that allow letting are far, far higher in site fees. And they all state on their site info, that folk should not expect to make a living out of letting. Given the price of todays modern statics, I have to say that you would not make much income at all, after your costs are taken into account.
Sites do differ on what is included but you have to remember that they will all have "extras" on top. I pay separately for the gas and electric use. Also have to pay the sewage separate, council tax, water rates, and refuse collection. I also pay something called "site maintenance" (over £100 a year for grass cutting!!!!!) Look into this before making a decision, as I canot see how people could actually make a business out of it. That is, if by business you mean making a living out of it.
