Believe there is a one hour dog programme on Horse & Country TV tonight, Sky channel 280 at 10pm. It was filmed at City of Birmingham Ch show in September. There is more news about it on H & C's website.

Around the Dog World

Putting dog conformation showing back on national television, Dog World TV's programme Around The Dog World is a must-watch for any dog lovers. 

The first episode features coverage of the City of Birmingham championship show in September, while the second has action from Midland Counties Show.

The series starts on Wednesday 23 November at 10pm - watch a trailer below:

It states on their website after much searching that the next tv viewing is on tomorrow 25/11/11 at 22.00hrs. The channel it states is 280 on sky.. I can't find that its on freeview anywhere.

I believe that they will be viewable on their actual website in a couple of weeks.  Shame that most of us were unable to view it as we don't have Sky!

i watched it last nite it was brill !!!!!!

I really enjoyed the first one. They now seem to be putting a Midland Counties programme up too.

I wonder when the first episode will be uploaded to the internet? They did say two weeks after the first one?

For those who don't have Sky to view Around the Dog World. The first episode (city of birmingham) has now been uploaded onto Horse and Country's website. Link here. It seems you have to register on their website to see the full episode but it's free. I've had no problems except there are advert breaks every 15 minutes (which you can't skip!)

...and then when it was over I got into watching the Gundog Guy :-). Amazing how many excellent reasons one can find to put off housework.

I just watched the 2 minute clip, short list of the hound group - next the deerhound! Errrr no that would be an Irish Wolfhound, didn't think it would be worth registering to watch the rest - is it?

Think that was a commentator mistake. It's definitely worth watching! At the end of the day, how many times do we get to see show dogs on TV - once a year (Crufts?)
