"Yappy dog?" is the question we get asked all the time by dog owners, when
our Miniature Schnauzer runs up barking. He never shuts up!
I don't mind and neither do people who own dogs and know he he means no harm, but when he does it to young children the parents aren't pleased. I am worried about some-one putting in a complaaint about him or really he
frightens some-one.
How on earth can I get him to stop barking?

If you know he is likely to bark when you are out and you are that worried - then you could use an anti bark muzzle. They are made of fabric and dogs usually hate them. In time they get to know that if they bark, the muzzle goes on so can learn to stop just be seeing it.

At last someone else with a mini schnauzer!! I have a MS but not many people who post on here seem to (or am I way out???)
Anyway just wondering what age your starting yapping? as our 14 week old does not as much as we thought he might..or is he far too young?
Our neighbours have 2 Mini's and they bark alot when people come to the door but thats about it. Our Rufus doesn't bark when people enter the house, when he hears another dog bark - just laughing on TV!!

You should register then we can talk about our dogs..thats if your open to me asking lots and lots of advice! :-)
