I still have the back door wide open along with the windows open and I am yet to put the heating on. I went to work in a short sleeved shirt after scrapping the ice off the windscreen. My Boss was wrapped up in a shirt, jumper, fleece and later a coat (not sure about trousers as I never saw him stand up).

(snowed in again)  but it's still not cold.. last year. we were at -24 .. still  at tropical at the moment at -1 lol... still in T-shirt

Have to add.. coal fire blazing though.. puppies need it :-)

I put the stove on about a week ago. The heat manages to get round the whole house. I don't have much meat on me so i'm not sure i could cope with Arctic conditions and trying to brave it out!
Since i've had the stove going at least the sofas have become vacant for human use! Yay! :-)

You'd be my husband's ideal wife!  (We're in Glasgow.)  I've had the heating on for months now and it won't go off until the temperature outside is almost tropical!  :)

My partner would love you all you warm blooded people!!! I'm a 'fires on & sit in a  jumper cuddling a hot water bottle' type of person. It has to be seriously warm before i feel the heat. Problem is OH hates the heat and goes around opening windows and complaining that we are living in an oven :-)

Even when we go to Cyprus, I need to put a long sleeve shirt on for going out for dinner, with everyone else still sitting around in short sleeves! I reckon I'm cold blooded - I change temperature very quickly and don't seem to have any internal heating mechanism. :-)

LucyDogs - me too!  When I went to Tenerife in '03 I was miserable - too hot in the sun, and freezing in the shade.

Here, I've had the heating on for weeks - only a half hour twice a day up until the last few days but it's on a bit more now.  I am trying to brave it out as best I can - I bought PJs for the dobes, and I live in my big fleecy dressing gown, two pairs of socks, fluffy slippers and so on and my hands are still chilly now!

My friend stayed with me early October when I thought it was still warm and at night she had 2 duvets & 3 hot water bottles. We've since had a delivery of oil for the heating(!) but only 1 rad has been on for the pups & the adult dogs still like the doors open so when it gets colder I'll wrap up in a fleecy blanket.

You are obviously a hothouse flower like me.  I don't mess about putting the central heating on a timer.  It goes on constant, and won't be turned off now until we have a heatwave.
