I'm wondering if someone can help me?

My lovely cousin is a piggy obsessive (and in the UK) and I would love to be able to sponsor a rescue pig on her behalf as a Christmas gift.

Do any of you know of any pig specific rescues that would do such a thing?

I know that some rare breeds farms (that are open to the public) run sponsorship/adoption options. If you can give a rough idea of the area she is based in, it may be possible to find something close to where she lives and then she could go and see the actual pig being sponsored :)

Thanks both for your suggestions.  My cousin is in Yorkshire.  That would be an even nicer idea if she could actually go visit the pig :)

Might be worth finding out if Temple Newsham in Leeds have an adoption scheme. They have lots of rare breed animals there.

Oh Sassinak, that would have been a wonderful idea - especially as after googling, I've just seen that they had a fire in November :(
However, it doesn't look like they have an adoption scheme sadly.

I used to visit a lot - it is well worth a visit in June when the Azaleas and Rhodies are all in flower, they are spectacular. I live in north east Scotland now so only get to go on rare visits back to Yorkshire.
