Does anyone know where I can buy lip balm suitable for a little boy. All I can find are ones with flowers , disney princesses , pink etc on. Trying to find a gift for a little boy who wants to play with his sisters balm so thought if I could find a boyish themed one it would make him happy! Tried googling and have had no luck yet.

Thanks, Kate

What about a ski one?  That's rugged enough isn't it? :)

what are ski ones? Complete non skier here ;)   He's just 5yrs old so would they be suitable for this age? (forgot to put age in original post)

Lip balm for skiers :-D  You should find plenty of them in Boots this time of year.  I have also found this whilst Googling them

Normal vaseline comes in a blue and white tin so not particularly girly.

Why not just let him play with his sisters lipbalm ?

Knowing small boys - part of the appeal is that it is his sisters!!  He might not really want his own...

There's a lot of taking and sharing at that age too - my nephew at a similar age spent the winter wearing a pair of bright pink tights he found in a dressing up box at my mums.  As a hulking 24 yr old he'd be mortified to remember it now, but we have some lovely photographs... :)

Have a look in Boots or Superdrug - plenty of plain lipsalve or balm around.  I can recommend Vaseline Aloe Vera, works well and tastes good too

Yes I have the little handbag tin of the Vaseline Aloe Vera, it's lovely.

Thank you everyone! :) Going to scout round Boots and Superdrug tomorrow - didn't think of doing that. Think this cold is wiping out a few brain cells ;)

My 2 boys are terrible for cracked lips in the winter.  Being doggy, we are always outdoors so I give them a little tub of vaseline each and tell them it's the same as footballers use and so, that makes it OK.

thats a good idea Cracar!  The only one i could think of was the blue original Lypsyl.  Although if i was a fella, this might sway me to buy it, if not a bit on the steep side!  I'll stick to my Palmers Lip Butter thanks (used it since i was about 13, and i'm now 32!) or Carmex if my lips get chapped.

My nieces Lip Balm disappered . After much foot stamping and stropping, she found it in my nephews room. She was about 17 he was five. While she was applying her lip balm, he was told off for taking it. His justifucation was,  But Mum my bum is sore!!

My son and Hubbie swear by Body Shop Hemp Lip Balm !
