is it me or are men so silly ,my oh is towny and never grow up with aniamls,i do not now how many times i have to expline,show him etc what dogs get fed ,same goes with dog training etc wish i could sent him off to traingin class someone like mic martin would soon get oh in order.now i have puppy i am trying to get oh involed i try and show him what to do no wonder my dogs take micky out him its same with cats and horse,my son is only 15mnths old and he gets dogs to do things ,keir loves grooming and cuddling and fedding treats and trys to walk dogs,oh moans that he is fat so keep saying walk dogs more but when it comes to walks all i get is so busy ,its cold etc no wonder dogs take micky,

someone like mic martin would soon get oh in order

Nah -men work like dogs so respond MUCH better to praise and rewards rather than punishment and threats! :)

And funnily enough, so do women, if only men could get the whole positive reward thing on board.

I have different coloured bows for my dogs, and I have a list if I have to go anywhere. Dog A has blue bowl, has x amount of food, and bowl goes near freezer. Dog B has green bowl, has y amount of food and goes near fridge, etc etc. It hasn't let me down yet, no matter who comes to see to the dogs.

However, when I had an OH it was like pulling teeth. I was never right with the instructions. Now he is on his own he has found out how to feed his dogs, etc, by trial and error.  He often laughed at me for having colour coordinated collar and leads for them, he now sees why. It is so much easier to know which dog is on the end of which lead. :-D

i have same the 3 dogs have diff colours for bowls leads etc my oh does not have brain

Well some do try but getting any consistency of response is a major issue! ;-)
