Just looked over at one of the pups today doing a poo on the puppy pad, and realised that after her quite firm poo, she had a bit of runny poo as well. Should I be concerned? She's happy enough in herself and fairly active, playing and sleeping fine, no crying or anything like that.
Should I just wait until she does another poo before worrying?
Any help much appreciated. xxx

Sounds like she may have over eaten.
or maybe due to be wormed?? or just wormed?? if not same as brainless over eaten. x
Thanks, I didn't know they could over eat!
Not been wormed recently, though they're due for more lot tomorrow as they were done at 2 weeks. xx

Mine were wormed at 14 days - born the same day as yours. They are not due now until 5 weeks old, I thought you did a 3 day Panacur the same as me?
I did; I thought it was every two weeks! Another breeder told me every 2 weeks...thank goodness for this forum.
I'll wait till 5 weeks Jean, thanks lovely. xx

Other wormers may be fortnightly, but Panacur is every 3 weeks. Have only ever followed the manufacturers advice for this. And have never, ever seen worms in a puppy.
Have to say that, as mum can't possibly get around all her pups for cleaning up as they run around, I have actually done a full poo inspection. :-) All formed and no nasties. Don't dog folk have some lovely topics!
Oh I know, only dog fanatics can talk in great length about their dogs' poo! Thankfully we've had no more runny poo, solids all round, a little bit of constipation from one of the pups though, will keep an eye on that. Does anyone have any tips?
They're slowly getting there with the food, eating a little more. Maisy is feeding them less and less now, so hopefully they should get more excited. They enjoy a little warm goats milk before bed time, too!
