Hi, my 11 month old Gsd  keeps rubbing her chin and making it sore , I am keeping it clean and putting cream on it  any ideas what could be wrong, never seen it before and she is my 6th shepherd thanks

Without seeing it, it's impossible to guess, so it sounds as if a trip to the vet might be in order.

Would agree with JG, the dog would normally only rub it's chin if it was worrying it in some way pain or itch so you need to deal with the underlining condition not the effects of the rubbing. Off to the vet as soon as possible.

I know it may seem unpleasant but smell the area. My cocker used to get a yeast infection in the folds of his lower lip that were itchy for him. Vet trip sorted it out

do you use a steel or plastic food bowl. if its plastic get a steel one as she could be having a reaction to the plastic
