has anyone any recommendations for bedding for a chewer?
My weimaraner is reduced to vet bed only as she has eaten the rather nice soft doughnut type beds I bought her in seconds, likewise cushions but she doesn't look very comfy :(
she doesn't chew on the vet bed. but did rip apart a nice vet bed covered cushion I got her- seems to have a thing about stuffing.
Are you brave enough to try the raised beds? I'm about to give one a go. Kuranda have ones that are guaranteed chew proof but they are pricey - but 10% off this month so I've just bitten the bullet and ordered one

Mine demolish vet beds but the Tuffies have survived but they too and expensive.
The trouble with a committed chewer is that I expect you don't want to buy expensive beds for them to practise on!
I have Tuffies - and love them - but as Nova says they aren't the cheapest option. However, it might be worth asking them to send you some fabric samples to have a look at. I have the wipe clean version which is pretty hardy.
Soft beds can be just too tempting :)
Had this problem with my boy! Ahem, he ate my leather sofa! :-o I bought a tub of vicks rub and smeared it onto the sofa and the throw that goes over the sofa! He doesn't eat the sofa any more. It hasn't stopped him sleeping on the sofa, he just finds it distasteful to chew! Thankfully just a few applications of vicks and he has stopped, otherwise i'd be sitting on orange crates by now!
