Thanks Carissa i will check that sight out. Replacement formula is expensive, i didn't realize that, but its a worth it to save a pup:)

Tazzie, you've reached day 4 (or is it 5?) now, and you say you have 5 good strong ones and one slightly weaker one. Try putting the smallest one on first - even if you have to dislodge one of the stronger ones - the stronger ones will fight for the nipples with the faster flow, I've found, in kittens and, it would appear in puppies as well!

Keep in there, Tazzie, it's going right!

Okay yep day five and still have 6 pups, the weaker one is hanging in there. I always try to make sure they all have a nipple, putting the little ones towards the back being they get most of the milk back there. They are so much fun to watch. We are going to atemp a vet visit in the morning to get the tails done, hopefuly i will have good news and they will be strong enough, wish me luck.

Tazzy, so sorry to here about the ones you have lost, I know how sad that is, my rotty is due in a couple of weeks, so im going through it all again, cleo did realy well last time, so fingers crossed.

hi Debbie, the pups are doing really well. I'm trying to get some sleep, but i still tend to wake up different hours of the night to check on them. Still worried that Roxie might lay on one exspecially since they are starting to get around and underneath the bedding. I am sure that they are going to hit a growing spurt soon. They all weigh between 8oz - 13oz. so they are still pretty small.

Okay everyone, the pups were a week old yesterday and i still have 6, they are so addorable, getting around good. Getting bigger everyday, even my little one. But then i have a bully in the bunch, he thinks he has to have all the nipples to himself. :) :)
