Following on from the other thread - about schedules not being posted out this year, except on request - I noticed in DW recently that schedules will be available to pick up from the Dog World stand and the KC stand at a few shows prior to the closing date.  I think I recall that LKA is one such show...

Yes I posted about schedules being avaialble at LKA and from the dog papers at champshows a couple of weeks ago. :)

Didn't think much of the interactive one, found it hard to work, but ten out of ten for effort!

Also good to have it confirmed that due to the later closing date Boston now IS a qualifying show for 2012.

Right off to request one for my friend she'll never remember on her own

Love the interactive schedule, surprised it was so quick to turn pages. Brilliant idea.

Does anyone know if you get two entry passes if you enter a dog thats owned by husband and wife?
- By cornishmals [gb] Date 10.11.11 21:31 UTC
The scheldule states 1 dog one pass, however if a dog is owned in partnership, then an extra pass is issued for the helper. So if your dog is in both your name and your partners/OH then you will get 2 passes.See page 134
All our woos are in joint names.

Guess OH better not wear his shorts!

is it generally expected that you dress up for the show? and does that include bystanders - in my case also a shorts wearing husband! :-)

OH is a dedicated shorts wearer, even at work through out the winter.
The first year we showed our Mals - about 5 or 6 years ago at Crufts he wore grown up trousers.Since then he has always worn shorts at all Champ shows.Always smart shorts(and as he has short legs they are fairly long on him anyway - below the knee) and a smart shirt with collar for crufts. As long as its smart casuals its fine(I wear a suit but my choice and part of the fun).
I did think last year that some exhibitors in the groups and for the final could have been alittle smarter, but it is about the dogs at the end of the day.
My CED managed to get my suit through her crating two years ago and managed to shred my new Monsoon suit to pieces.

It's really up to you what you wear in the ring, I always go smart at every show but thats my choice. I think the BOB & Group winners should all dress smart, it looks horrible when all other group winners have made the effort and one is in trainers & jeans
