I wonder how well they run/hunt?

With no trouble at all they are entered in lure chasing events and do well but are not used for hunting any more because it is not allowed but if given the opportunity they will chase any small furies just the same as the racing hounds. They are similar to the racing greyhounds in habit, like a good chase but like a good settee as well, they have not been bred to run round in an oval but in a straight line never the less they will chase a lure on a zigzag course with little problem.

Thanks for your replies everyone! I'm posting my letter with my vet's letter by registered post today so can only hope it will arrive by Monday or Tuesday at best and pray that they get back to me soon with good news! :)

As an aside, all of my greyhounds have loved to race and lure course but live happily with us and two pet hens and four little pet quail! :)
