My son phoned earlier saying that his partner had just been bitten by a mouse!  The cats keep bringing them in - the living room was a tip he said where they had chased this mouse after the cat had dropped it.  My son was really worried by the bite and asked me what she ought to do.  I gave her my tcp and got her to bathe her finger.  Then I gave her the germoline to rub in.  She reckons her tetanus is up to date - I don't think there is anything else is there?   The cats are getting really dreadful at bringing in mice and shrews at the moment -dead or alive.  I hate to think what is brought in when they aren't there to see.

I got bitten by a mouse the cats had bought in rang the hospital and they said as long as my tetanus was up to date it should. Be fine cleaned and dressed which is what I did.  No further problem

AS long as her Tetnus is up to date then unless it becomes infected it should be fine. Keep an eye out for redness and weeping . If it does look red or inflamed then a trip to GP for some ABX.

We 'flooded' a mouse' nest once and killed the mum.  All the babies survived and we brought them into the house and raised them.  I was hysterical about the kids getting the plague and phoned my vet but he said wild mice don't carry any different diseases than the ones in the pet shops.  I would keep it clean(teeth, yuk!) and that's about it.
