THINK MY DAY IS COMMING SOON I HOPE

Don't breed her this season - she's far too young. Wait till she's 2 years old.
And if you've bred your other bitch, surely you know it's normal for them still to be bleeding at 10 days into the season?

Do I smell a rat here?

If you have a male who is "going nuts" as you say, around your puppy then the chances are that he has already mated her and the damage has been done! I would get her to a vet as soon as possible to have an injection to remove any chance that she is pregnant and then keep them seperated until well after the season has finished. At 9 months old she is far to young to breed from, she is still a baby and has not even finished growing yet.

The reason why most breeds are not bred until two years of age. Is
mainly down to how mature the bitch is.
You may well think she is large enough to breed from and even sensible but lots of different things have to be taken into account.
Firstly. Here in the uk we have our dogs hip scored. This is to check to see if hip dysplasia is present. This can not be done until the dog/bitch is 12 months old.
In America it is done more so that Uk. Because that if you sell a puppy and it has hip problems which appear when its three you as the breeder will be sued. This can cost you a lot of money. A lot more than your litter will make. So this is why we not only want healthy dogs but to safe guard our ourselves.
Also in dog years, it is said that a dog of 1 years of age in human terms is 7 years old. Would you really want to mate a child of 7 years. I think not.
It would be a lot wiser to not breed her this time. Wait until she has been hip scored and eye tested. I know how exciting it is having puppies. But surely its better to wait just another season or two before having her mated.
Dont forget that your dog will mate her, and could of done so already. So be extra careful. He also will be very excited having this bitch running around him. He would mate her every day and two or three times a day. This is not needed. Your bitch could get sore and tear inside. This has been known.
Just think very carefully what you are doing.
