Hi all.

My litter are doing fantastically, and have over doubled their birth weights. They're a little over a week old.
However, the day after, their cords fell off, all fine and well. But now a couple of them have little dried tiny stubs where their cords were? Is this normal? They're almost like scabs only slightly larger. Should they drop off by themselves or is this a hernia?

Doesn't sound like a hernia to me.  My litter has still got dried crispy looking bits attached.  I never mess with them.  They eventually fall off of their own accord.

A few of my pups had this in a recent litter of twelve. A raised area with a dry scab like circle but they all dried up nicely and as puppies got to approx 3 weeks the 'bump' dissapeared.

Excellent, thanks everyone, I was a bit worried as it was only two of the pups that still have them. I'll leave them be!
