What is the best to use these days ?

We use Effipro for flea treatment, same active ingredient(s) as Frontline and much cheaper. And I think we use Drontal for worming. I just do as hubby tells me, he's the one who knows all about flea / worming treatments in his line of work. :-)

I normally use frontline and panacur but my mum has just started using advocate every month but I dont fancy using it every single month ! Do I have to get advocate from the vets ? Thanks

Yes   you can just  pop into vets  and  buy, there  is a  website  on net  if  you  google  that  you  dont  need a  prescription  for  but  it  comes  from  abroad  i have  used it  a  few  times  with no  problems.

So many products available now i think it depends on what is best for your circumstances. I use advantix for fleas and ticks in the summer and stronghold for fleas in the winter and just get a few ticks every so often. I think the stronghold is better for fleas than frontline/effipro.
