Hi,

Has anyone used a  Dri-Dog Bag? as I was thinking about buying a couple.

Thanks.

My sister used to have one for her cocker but the poor wee dog kept try to walk when it was on so didn't really work :)

I use both equafleece ( http://www.equafleece.co.uk/store/dogs.html ) which are excellent but pricey.  I also have one of these http://www.freckles-designs.co.uk/#/drying-coats-rev2/4555646616 which are also very good and a cheaper option.

My dog loved his, after swimming, walk in heavy rain, or a bath I only had to spread it out and he'd lie down on it ready to be zipped in.  I only left him zipped up for 30 mins max, as I don't think longer would be good for joints (no specialist knowledge, just gut feel), but that was long enough for him to be acceptably damp, and a brush through (before or after a roll on the carpet!) finished the job. He got quite warm in it.

You would need to be around though, and not leave a dog unattended, as if they try to walk it's not good - the ideal would be one with legs like a towelling babygro.

Equafleece is a better choice because the dogs can walk around without tripping up and it wicks the wet off them very quickly. My oldest boy was very sniffy about it at first but now they all queue up to get dressed after a long cold wet walk and then spend a good ten minutes rolling about like mad. The only note of caution is that if you have a coated breed the fleece can tend to accelerate knotting under the armpits

My toy breed has an equafleece which she wears rather like a raincoat not to dry her after a walk. It keeps her quite dry.

Equafleece all the way for my dogs. Perfect after they have been shooting for the day, dries them off, keeps them warm (very cold sensitive HPR breed) and the best bit - takes the mud off so when they get home they are ready for tea and lazing in front of the fire.

Thanks everyone for your replies, they have been really helpful.

I think I will buy the Equafleece coats. I want something to put on them when I put them in the car after swimming or when we have been out in the rain, and I didn't really think the bags would be pratical.
