has anyone heard of toxo plasmosis ?

I think it's a disese (sp) found in the faeces of cats (perhaps other animals too) It poses a very dangerous threat to unborn babies.I know when I was pregnant, the midwife told me I should only garden with gloves, and not to handle cat litter. If you go to a search engine, and type it in, I'm sure you will get a better explaination.

I believe it is an infection caught mainly from cat faeces

It is this that has caused blindness in children, not the worms that dogs carry (although I think they could, just havent) and yet you hear so many warnings about dogs but how many times have you heard people warned not to keep the cats litter tray in the kitchen and make sure the cats don't poo in the veg patch. No nor have I. Jackie

what it is i just found out that my 10 weeks old staffordshire bull terrier pup might have it his haveing antibiotics at the moment and they are doing load of blood tests on him
