I am not sure anyonecan help me, but maybe you can point me in the right direction. I am in the United States (Houston, Texas). Our family just recently lost our beloved Scotty! We would like to get a new (Female) Scottish Terrier Puppy FROM SCOTLAND. Do you have (or know of anyone who might have) some Scotty Puppies for sale in Scotland?

I will have a friend in Scotland in the next few weeks who has volunteered to help us transport the puppy back to the US, but at this time I don't even have a lead on where to find any for sale. Any help you can provide will be of great assistance.

From Discover Dogs- terrier group + numerous other sites:

SCOTTISH TERRIER BREED CLUB OF SCOTLAND.
Secretary, Mrs M Plunkett. Tel No: 00 44 (1)387 740420
There is apparently no website yet.
You'll have to look up the country code in your telephone book + don't forget about the 7 hour time difference if/when you phone. 6pm TX time is 1am British time. Be considerate ;) :)
regards,
toodles

You can use the Search function on this site to see a list of breeders. Press the Search button, then...
start guided search > terrier > scottish terrier > breeders
If you are set on one from Scotland, the listed breeders in Scotland are in the counties of:
Angus
Clackmannanshire
Stirlingshire

Good luck

Hi Guest, If you e mail me I can give you some phone nos for you to try, and I do know these breeders export and they are in Scotland as I am. Just click on my name and my e mail addy will come up. There are not that many breeders about and you might not get a puppy as quickly as you think, you possibly will have to wait for a litter to be born. Irene-Westyholm Westies
