Dose anyone know how to get the Crufts schedule as I have been told they are not sending them out automatically this year.

For those who would prefer to receive a printed schedule as in previous years, a number of copies will be available to order by post. Please send an A5 stamped addressed envelope to the value of 79 pence for first class or 65 pence for second class post to the Crufts Office, The Kennel Club, 1 Clarges Street, Piccadilly, London, W1J 8AB.

That's for those who don't want to just download it.

Is the Crufts schedule available at Champ Shows like most others or can you only get paper versions by post?  I read the KC page and couldn't really see whether they are trying to save postage costs or printing costs as well!!

No Crufts schedules haven't been available at shows for many years now, it's only been by request or posted to previous year's exhibitors. I CAN see the postage point, although I do think it s a bit much to do away with both in one go (sending them out to everyone, then suddenly only to those that request AND pay postage) as the Crufts schedule is MUCH bigger and heavier than any other schedule I've ever seen.

I just get the feeling they dont want people to use Royal Mail at all...what about those poor folk who dont have computers. I think if you request a schedule that the club should send one & not make you pay for it...I also get the feeling that do they really want us to enter if there arent any schedules around....!!!
I dont have to worry, as I got nothing qualified but it's the principal.

Yes it is - which is why I think it a bit special when it plops onto the doormat!  It's a shame you can't collect it at Champ Shows, it would save postage

most of that is advertising, which means I always had to tear out the relevant pages to put in my show bum bag where all the schedules of entered shows go to remind me what classes I have entered under what judges.

I was told by one secretary that from next year you can only enter shows on line.

Highly unlikely because not all people have computers or are computer literate & not many open shows/breed shows are done online.

Not everyone has access to credit or debit cards either.
