Any Bernese classes and if so who's judging?

so local to me it would be silly not to go.....would be my 2nd show this year !!! Would you mind seeing who is judging Irish Setters, and is there a telephone number on the schedule that I can call for one ?
Actually is this the one held in maidenhead ? if so, not so local !!
is there any bullmastiff classes and junior handeling? could you pm me a number as i would like to get a couple of copys, thanks.

There is not Bernese or Bullmastiff classes. There is Junior Handling though.
This show is held at Montem Centre in Sough.
Irish Setter judge is Marion Reeves (Baywillow). :)

Ok - sorry to be a pain
Any Gordon Setter classes and who is the judge - also who is the junior handling judge please.
Thanks so much
Rachel

Oooooo Bertbeagle! you little star! Can you let me know if there are any AV or AVNSC Junior hound classes & if so who's judging them?
Thanks very much

No Gordon Setter classes and the JH judge is Felicity Freer.
There is AVNSC Hound 4 classes P, J, PG & O and the judge is Miss Melanie Spavin she is also doing the group. :)

Thanks very much :)
thats great thanks, have you got a number i can call for schedules as my youngest would love to go under Felicity Freer

can you tell me if there are whippet classes ?? and judge please
>This show is held at Montem Centre in Sough.
Oh thats the one, Slough, one of my dogs rolled in human excrement on the playing field the last time we went there

>Irish Setter judge is Marion Reeves (Baywillow)
........ a quick google brings her up as a Terrier judge no wonder I dont bother entering shows anymore !
Sorry, not being ungrateful, thanks for posting the info :)

She has bred champion Brittanys and I think also owns GSPs - as well as several champion Border Terriers
"........ a quick google brings her up as a Terrier judge no wonder I dont bother entering shows anymore !"
But unless they get experience of good dogs in each breed that they judge how will they be able to
to hone their skills?
Plus you may have a nice surprise and do well :)
Plus if we all keep not going to shows we will all lose our breed classes at our local shows...
something that we'd all like to avoid I'm sure.

I never do well under all rounders, unfortunately I just dont have money to throw around so I have to be selective over which shows I go to.
I have gone to too many shows in the hope I will have a nice surprise and do well ;)

The Whippet judge is Mr Robert Greaves (Whittimere). :)

He is judging at Bridgwater show in November too
" never do well under all rounders, unfortunately I just dont have money to throw around so I have to be selective over which shows I go to."
Snap - but I don't want to lose my breed classes at my local open shows so even thou some may have judges that I'm not particularly enthusiastic over I still go as the following year I hope they may have a more favourable judge. :)
Sadly losing my breed classes at a very local open show to me :( But that's because it now clashes with a local breed club's limit show/agm and the majority of the local Boxer exhibitors go to the breed show.
The 'local regional' breed club has moved dates as used to be a week earlier and never caused a problem.
Don't envy the open show secretaries trying to please us all :)

Sarah I have asked that but as yet haven't had a reply. Don't understand why the schedules are so hard to come by!!
Might see you there?

Cairn -Marion Reeves
Cesky -Marion Reeves
AVNSC -Marion Reeves
Marion Reeves (Baywilliow) is also doing the group.

Going through the KC Gazette and seeing the shows there and compare them to those online or available to download, is very different. I've missed various shows because of this.
If you would be kind enough to let me have a scanned copy of the schedule, it would be much appreciated.

Sadly I won't be doing Reading as South of England Gundog the day after. Would have liked to have giving the handling judge a shot though for the girls - but really can't cope with two shows in one weekend - must be my age ha ha!
Alot of shows still use the papers and 'request a schedule' from the secretary don't they. I know that some shows don't even advertise in the papers so how are we supposed to support them? Strange and no wonder the shows are declining.
I was impressed by some shows automatically emailing a schedule to me (having exhibited at a previous show) rather than posting - thought that was fab! and must be a bonus to save money for the clubs.
I prefer to enter online (I know it costs more!!) and finding schedules online. I then keep them on my pc until time to enter - saves hoarding them around the house and losing them!

Yes, I really wish there was a site that had every single open show on along with a schedule you can download. Don't think we'll be entering this show, I'm looking for shows down south so my Mom and Dad can bring Dolly to Oxford for the weekend, and I can then take her to work with me on the Monday :-D
Hi Whipkit,
have been looking for Reading Schedule and would really appreciate a copy if possible via email. Are you still ok to do this or have you been swamped with requests? Also, I assume this will let me know how/where to enter e.g. online/where to get entry form etc.? Sorry am a newby to Showing. Many thanks

Unfortunately this thread is from last year. :-( You can download the schedule and entry form for this year from
this link. Good luck!
