Know this came up recently but I can't find it so will someone tell me how I can open page one when the thread has moved on to page two. Have tried everything I can think of and have so far found it impossible to do, anyone help please.

Click on 'Board Index', then click on 'Mark Read' and 'Mark Old'. Then you'll be able to read all the pages.

I view from Active topics and it shows the page numbers in the bottom right and I click onto the one I want

Yes, I view from Active topics as well but if I click on a previous page it does nothing will try JGs method and see how it sits with my way of viewing.

Has it worked?
- By Nova Date 10.10.11 18:51 UTC
I think so, it seems to look different but my tiny brain should get used to that - it seems strange that you can't look at previous pages no matter which way one chooses to view the forum. But you have my thanks JG it is so frustrating not to know what the original post was particularly if you are naturally nosey which I am.

Once in the thread you should see the amount of pages in the top right 1 2 3 etc..from memory the page your on will be navy blue and other pages will be a lighter more royal blue, these are underlined. This should be the same for all the forum topics.
Just click on the page number you want

Yes Lexy but it did not work, the numbers were there but if you are on page 3 you cant access page 1 or 2 the system ignores your request.

Have managed to get it going again by clicking Mark Read - don't ask me why I have no idea but it seems to have worked.

Thought I would let you know, Nova, that I have always had the same problem and JG's tip has just now worked for me too.  So thanks for asking, and you, JG, thanks for the answer.  :)
