The normally go dormant over winter anyway. I would keep it in a warm room, not too many temperature fluctuations and keep watered but not over-watered if you know what I mean. Many carnivorous plants don't cope well with the minerals in tap water, so try rainwater or distilled water.
keep them misted (placing them in the bathroom after a shower or bath is about right), and never water from the top, let them soak it up through the roots from a tray/saucer.

My OH and son have carnivorous plants. They stand them in a deep tray with about an inch of rainwater in it (always rainwater) - all year round. Neither has ever managed to keep a venus fly-trap through a winter tho' :) Other plants have never been a problem :)
