Hi all,

just discovered that I lost my white leather show lead at Driffield on Saturday.  I was showing whippets.  Is there a lost property department? or might any other whippeteers have found it?  It will probably have been lost in the area at the top of the ring nearest the tent.

You may be lucky, try contacting the secretary to see if some kind & honest soul handed it in but I expect thats the last you will have seen of it?! Maybe try putting a post on The Whippet Forum or Facebook??

Thank you Lexy - I've posted a message on K9 - I don't seem to be able to get onto the Whippet forum - it doesn't recognise my password, despite me changing it, and when I email the site there's no response. I've no idea how to do facebook??? I have an account but is there a whippet forum on there? Have I been missing out all these years???

Any recommendations for whippie show collar sites - I loved my old one and ebay seems very limited...

Off topic, but perhaps you'll know if the SYWC results published anywhere?

Results have been put on TWF by the secretary & FB by Alayna..none on K9 as yet.

Show leads ~ if the one you lost is the same as I think it is try JR Whippet Rescue(stall will be at WC on 15th, MWC on 23rd oct & other 2 breed champs later in the year)

Thank you so much Vanhalla! whippets are a lovely 'secret passion' to have!  I've tried again to access TWF with the same error message - grrrrrrr.

Thank you Lexy re. where I must have got my show lead from! it would have been from a whippet breed show - I was racking my braincell as it was 11 years ago when I showed a white dog and bought it to match -  I was slightly sentimentally attached to this lead - silly or what? but if I can buy a replica and benefit JR rescue at the same time - fab!
