Have just been playing on the Kennel Clubs Mate Select and low and behold.  the information for my last litter is incorrect my 5 month old pups litter health tests page, the date of birth  for the hereditary test results is the date the dam was tested not their date of birth, as with other litters she has had.  showing the same on the sires page and their own individual page shows the dam's test date and not their date of birth think I may have to contact them tomorrow
I suggest that everyone goes and has a look and makes sure their information is correct.

Don't understand what you mean???  I didn't know that DOB's were on there, thought it only showed health test dates.

I don't get what you mean either -there are no dates of births, only dates tests were carried out. Where do you find a litter health test page? Do they do that for breeds that need testing as pups before being sold? All I have ever found is progeny which includes all litters from same parent, identified simply by numbers so you have to guess who is who.

on the Progeny page it gives the litters
link
gives the date of test on a litter not date of birth like the other litters
then if you input my 5 month old pups name it also shows at the test date of mother not when it was born but on other pups out of same mother diffenent litters it shows the date of birth

Ahh get why.  This is because both parents of the pups have been tested so they are hereditary clear as their parents are clear, so their DOB is put on as they do not need to have the test, or that's how I take it anyway!

I would have taken it that way if the previous litter wasnt put as date of birth  the way it reads she had a litter November 07 and  December 07
good going  she might be a fantastic mother but she not that good.

If your litter are hereditary clear for a CONDITION THE TEST DATE USED is normally the litters DOB.

One of mine is both tested and hereditary clear (her parents were tested at same time or later than she was) so in her case her test date is used, but for her untested litter-mates their DOB is the date shown against their DNA status.

This is what is showing on all the other litters the DOB but on my litter born in April 2011 it shows as the Dams test date and when you put a name in to check if its had test done it comes back as

DNA test - PHPT    Hereditary Clear     10th December 2007

now a full sister previous mating

Test/Scheme                                   Result                                      Date

DNA test -                        PHPTHereditary  Clear                             23rd November 2007   Which is the bitches date of birth

Sounds like a mistake which they need to sort out.

I'd not bothered looking on Mate Select to check data. At Crufts they'd not even got stuff relating to my dogs on. But this thread prompted me to take a peek.

It is worthwhile checking, i discovered big & multiple mistakes, ranging from hip scores, litters sired & health tests, or rather lack of them showing.

It's not too important to me as for my breed there is a much more useful site available, but for anyone who might find themate Select an important tool, I'd suggest you check out the data & notify the KC of anything thst may need changing. These tools can be really useful but only if the data is correct.

and that is my worry as the data does not show you the dogs names and pedigrees you cannot easily spot mistakes based on mistakes for dogs not your own.

Re the inbreeding levels (COI| data it isn't enough to know the level of inbreeding it is important to know which dogs are inbred to.

I know in my breed I cannot bring up a breeders dogs details but I know that they've been tested etc.
