Danielle - you asked this question last night, and the thread was pulled - because you had named your breed (against TOS here).
Having seen last night's post, I do know what the breed is, and I would ask you :-
1. Have you carried out health screening against syringomyelia?
2. What about Brachycephalic Airway Obstruction Syndrome (BAOS)/mitral valve disease ?
3. And luxating patella/hip displasia?
Are you aware that these are serious problems in your breed?
And why, in the name of goodness, do you think it would be a good idea to mate both bitches at once?
> And why, in the name of goodness, do you think it would be a good idea to mate both bitches at once?
...and to the same dog?
Even if you've done all the health tests that are so necessary in your breed you will need more than 'lovely' to justify producing a litter - and 2 litters at once, to the same dog, is rarely justifiable.
If your objective is to find a good quality puppy for showing then this is rare from a 'pet mating'. Your breed is already one that is exploited by puppy farmers and surely you do not want to be counted as one of those. Good owners aren't that easy to find in todays climate and many are getting better educated about where to find healthy puppies and some of the things you've already mentioned (and haven't covered) will be ringing alarm bells.
Please think again
In short, if you do this, you will not only have to take a LOT of time off work which will lose you money, you may have to pay about £2000 if they both need c-sections, you'll have to buy double of everything. Let me tell you, the litter we're having now is just the one litter, and it has already cost us well over the amount we'd pay for a top show pup.
Seriously, even without the health testing which I'm sure you will have done because without it you will bring pups into the world you'll probably be unable to sell due to them not being secured against health problems in your breed, both litters will cost you more money than you'll make if you do this properly, and if you don't do it properly, well then shame on you I'm afraid.

I believe the OP posted some time ago about her breeding practices - I remember it well.
"I AM NOT A BREEDER. JUST CUZ MY BITCH HAS ONE LITTER DOSE NOT MEAN I AM A BREEDER. I DONT WANT TO KEEP A PUP OUT OF THERE LITTER. THEY HAVE ALL BIN SOLD. I WANT ANOTHER BITCH AND ITS UP TO ME NO ONE ELSE. AND IN MY EYES AND ALOT OF OFTHER PEOPLE I HAVE TALKED TO SAY I AM DOING THE RIGHT THING AT THE END OF THE DAY. AND ITS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY AT THE END OF THE DAY. I CANT KEEP MY EYE ON THEM EVERY SECOND OF THE DAY."
And
"how many more times have i got to tell you all that all my pups are sold. i didnt want to keep one and for the last time thats my choice. wots it got to do with anyone anyway. o and by the way i dont take kindly to people saying i can not take care of my dogs. i want one as a pet wot the harm in that. why the hell are people trying to make out that i am thick. if i want to get another pup i will and i dont care wot any of you think anymore. and yes it is pis***g me of people asking why didnt you keep a pup. CUZ I SOLD THEM ALL OK DO PEOPLE GET THAT. I HAVE NO PUPS LEFT FOR THE LAST TIME. AND I AM NOT USING THIS SITE ANYMORE CUZ NO ONE LISTENS. ITS UP TO ME THAT I WANT ANOTHER PUP AND DONT WORRY I WILL KEEP LOOKING AND NOT I AM NOT GETTING ANOTHER PUP SO I CAN BREED JUST AS A PET. I HAVE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS THAN TO KEEP BREEDING DOGS I HAVE A DISABLED CHILD AND THIS PUP WILL BE FOR HIM. SO I HAVE EVERY RIGHTS TO GET ANTHER PUP. O AND BY THE WAY I DIDNT SAY I WANTED ONE JUST YET DID I. "
Which by reckoning makes one of your bitches around 1 year old.

I thought the name rang more than one bell!!!
Yes - a greedy breeder who has learned nothing but wishes to get all her information the lazy way and hopefully use CD to sell a litter :(
Well - she's had my advice - DON'T DO IT!
Danielle - do you know what Syringomyelia is ?
DaChiari-like malformation (CM) is characterised by a mismatch in size between the brain (too big) and the skull (too small). This constricts the opening from the skull into the vertebral canal and alters the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). As a result a fluid-filled cavity develops within the spinal cord called a syrinx, with the condition being called Syringomyelia (SM). Both conditions can cause a significant amount of pain.
These debilitating inherited conditions affect certain breeds - yours is one of them.

Once again, why doesnt jemima pick on breeders like these! I hope puppy buyers will start to sue breeders when their dogs die aged 5 or so of preventable conditions. Something is needed to stop such indescriminate breeding. At least sm screening is now going to be made official so puppy buyers can look results up before deciding on a breeder.
Thanks Tooolz for highlighting the previous posts - I did look back but didn't see these ones. I think it shows us very accurately just who is asking for help.
...although I'm not entirely sure why after reading this bit: "I AM NOT USING THIS SITE ANYMORE CUZ NO ONE LISTENS"
Pot calling kettle black?! :)

Yup! Which is why, after a short break from CD, I had to decide not to answer these sort of posts. I was starting to say what I think! :-(

As I get older, so I have less patience. I will give the benefit of the doubt if I truly believe that someone is just completely ignorant - but when they are arrogant, then I give the benefit of my tongue ....and then delete it ....it keeps my blood pressure down :)
However, I am beginning to think that maybe, just maybe, this thread should be treated as a "learning curve" for other people who innocently think "oh yes, she'd be a luvvly mum ....." So that they can see how a greedy breeder comes over - who has absolutely no thought of the fact that they could well be responsible for the bringing into the world of poor unhealthy puppies. Who will not care what happens to these puppies - and who will have litter after litter after litter. Sensible people will realise that such greedy breeders are just plain scum!
So, Danielle - if the cap fits, wear it! You know now what I think of breeders such as you would appear to be!

Poetic justice if the father of the last litter ( and the reason why she couldnt keep a puppy 'coz he'd get her')
wont mate the new 'bought in just as pets' ones :-)

Hmm, not so sure about that. Some people think the BVA/KC scheme for CM/SM is now shelved.
GREEN LIGHT FOR SYRINGOMYELIA HEALTH SCHEME FOR DOGS
The British Veterinary Association/Kennel Club Canine Health Schemes (CHS) management committee has given the go-ahead for a new Scheme to screen dogs, particularly potential breeding stock, for chiari-like malformation and syringomyelia (CM/SM) to start in January 2012.

Yes it is true the BVA have agreed to implement the scheme and will roll it out from the beginning of January 2012.
The first public domain information will be available on the KC Heath Test finder database probably nearer the end of the first quarter of the year.
It is thought that all existing certification will be recorded as 'scanned prior to the new scheme' which I think is fair.

It sounds like the sticking point over publication of results has been overcome then? If so that does sound like progress.
Do you have a link to any statement from the KC, or other interested parties? I know there was a meeting quite recently but there was no immediate feedback available.
