Hi everyone. I mated my girl last week day 12 and 14 everything went great an im now holding my breath to see if she is pregnant (this is my last try ) The thing is since she has been mated she has started to wee in the house, even in front of us, she did not do this before she was mated and has never done this when mated last year (she never caught) its like she is marking leaving me little puddles, when she does it in front of us she just looks at us, its like she dosent even know why she is doing it herself, shes been doing it in her crate aswell. Is she marking to leave her scent for "the boys", im baffled and like i said i think she is ! Shes stopped doing it in the house from yesterday but when she goes out to the toilet she is weeing in her usual spot and has now started to go to another spot straight after and does a little wee there then comes in !This is not her normal behaviour either out of season or in season. She is right at the end of her season now, hardly any bleeding. I hope someone can help me answer this im soo curious. She is well in herself, Thanks in advance . Jenny xxxx
Just wanted to add that when she does this she is squatting when weeing. Just thought id say ! LOL

It could be a urine infection....i would take her to the vets.

Was it a difficult mating? With the urethra being in the vagina it can be bruised or iritated and this will make her want to wee more.
Female dogs can mark but in view of the recent mating I don't think that is what she is doing.
Absolutely, I would say she has a touch of cystitis. Get her to the vets for some antibiotics but make sure you tell them she has been mated so they give her ones suitable for pregnancy
I pee'd more when I was pregnant :o)
Best to check in with the vet though...the dog's penis may have been a bit grubby or pushed some nasties in!! Hope she's ok x
Hi everyone, thanks for the advice just wanted to let you know we are going to the vets today so i will let you know how we got on. Thanks again. Jenny.
