Please can some one give me details for a good vet to go to, to get my dog hip scored in Devon, I don't think our local vets have much experience.

You just need a vet who can take good xrays (digital) as they're sent off to a panel for the actual scoring.  Sorry I don't know any in Devon - but ring around and ask for those with digital xrays and who will send a disc off to the panel.

I used a friend's vet when I had my most recent set of hip and elbow scoring done. They do digital xrays. Got a score of 4:4 hips and 0 elbows :) I'll take his daughter there soon. Link below:

Thanks very much for the link I'm near South Molton, to be honest we've not spoken to our local vets about it yet so I don't know if they do the right x-rays but there is only one man I would trust to get it right there.

Edited to add: Which branch did you go to? The North Tawton Surgery or one of the other branches?

Just looked up our vets they do, do digital x-rays but I doubt they do at our local branch and I don't know why but I just don't trust them 100% there are a lot of younger people working there, I'm not knocking young people but some of them at our vets just don't seem to have much common sense!

Westmoor vets in Tavistock take hip xrays, also do eye testing which is why I went there to get it all done in one go.
