Topic Dog Boards / Health / Anyone with Pugs - question about puppies ears
- By JTHOM1 [gb] Date 01.09.11 14:13 UTC
Hi all,
I have Pug puppy (10 weeks old tomorrow).
It is a bitch which we have kept ourselves out of the litter.
Upon until a few days ago both her ears have been in the same position lying forward (button) but have noticed that the left ear is now lying in a different position (rose).
Will this be permanent?
Hope someone can help.

I would suspect it may be permanent. I have five of the little critters and the oldest one has one button and one rose ear but she started out with both being button ears.I know some breeds can have the ears taped into position, but I have never come across that being done with our breed

You could try this

I know it works with Boxers and Bullmastiffs.

Thanks both and thanks for the link - will give the massaging a try.
I did find a few posts online about taping ears in Pugs but wouldnt know where to start with that without someone showing me.  We are not showing her so doesnt matter to us but just wondered why one ear had suddenly changed.
Thanks again
