I've been trying to figure out if my small breed bitch is pregnant or not she's abot 4 weeks if she has taken she isn't really gaining any weight at all but her girly bits are still very swollen and hasn't gone down since being mated I was thinking of getting an ultrasound scan but to be honest I'm to chicken to see if she is or not she was mated on 29 th july and 30 th july any help on what signs I should look for at this stage thanks

At 4 weeks, not many signs in the body -certainly would not expect any weight gain as early, it tends to come from 6 weeks onwards. Most obvious signs would be morning sickness, going off food, acting differently and yes vulva not having shrunk back to normal size.
