Can someone please tell me the drontal dosage and or worming during pregnancy and lactation. My initial thoughts were to use panacur, but my usual wormer is drontal so I am unsure which to use but would like to know the drontal guide as as much as I can see reading online, it appears not to recommend worming whilst pregnant- which doesnt seem right to me (and if so, i would be going with panacur).
Thanks

I used panacur from day 40 on my in whelp bitch until 3 days after she whelped - 1ml of 10% per 4 kg weight. For the puppies I again used Panacur 1/2 ml per kilo of weight for 3 consequative days at 2 5 and 8 weeks (though I am worming them at 7 weeks so not to correspond with their first jabs.

I don't like worming whilst pregnant and I really don't like Panacur, having to use it so much. I worm with Drontal around time of mating then again when I worm the pups. Never had a problem.

I use Drontal for my adults for routine worming.  But always use Panacur for pregnant bitches and puppies.  Although the pups are dosed for 3 consecutive days, they are much smaller doses than the one day dose of other makes.  I've used it for years.
