Hi
I've got a dobe and his crate is 42''-plenty big enough for sleeping in and short spells

thank you very much

it's very good to know I'll have someone to come running to when I'm ready to pull my hair out

Should I mail you personally or just leave a note on here??

Sorry need your advice already.

I had found a breeder I was happy with but they are in South Wales and I'm in Northampton which is a long old trek.

I have found a litter closer to home but they are keeping the only bitch of the litter.
Do you know of any obvious differences between the sexes.

I only initially said a bitch because my cats are girls, infact all the labradors I've had have been dogs. but like I said before theyve all been rescued so its hard to tell if they were "normal"

Hello there

You will find everybody has differing opinions on whether bitches or dogs are their preference.

I personallly have always had bitches and do prefer them ! I am sure though you will find that other people will have their vaild opinions on what is best. Everybody to their own !

I wouldn't just go for a dog just because it is nearer to you though.

Take your time in looking for a pup and you may find you have to travel to get the right one for you, don't go for one just because it is less distance for you to travel.
Have you had a look at the breeders listed on Champdogs at all ?

I have had to wait months to get a pup so please take your time !!

All good things come to those who wait ! :D

Hope you find the right one soon !

A lot depends how long the dog will spend in the crate, if it is all day with just a brief break in the middle then it would really need to be much larger than 48 inches but if just for a few hours out of 24 then a 42" will be ample
