- By Romside [gb] Date 27.08.11 09:42 UTC
Is there any reason why panacur 10% is out of stock absolutly everywhere,iv got pups and im running low and need it asap!Iv been online to places that say it is in srock then you go to place an order and its out of stock......anyone know if  somethings wrong..?

Don't know about panacur but heard on www.Gem106.co.uk news this morning...that Nurofen has been withdrawn from the shelves...because they found anti-psychotics...and some other drug that shouldn't be there.... in the pills....!

You think this sabotage has some connection to the lack of panacur? !  Perhaps it would be better to stay on topic.
Have you asked your vet, Tamara?

This seems an unecessarily sharp remark. You know, part of belonging to any community, online or otherwise, is practising a little tolerance. This board is for everyone.

And yours seems unecessarily critical?  It seem perfectly legitimate to me to query whether a post is relevant or off topic.  The board is for everyone but I could not see the connection.

I can't think of a connection between a possible shortage of Panacur and the withdrawal due to sabotage of Nurofen; it certainly seems to be distracting attention from the OP's query.

Not that I need it, but would be interesting to know why its not available anywhere currently..

It might not be relevant but I've noticed a real trend regarding lack of stock (usually supermarket goods):  you suddenly notice that something has been out of stock the last two times you shop, you try somewhere else, no joy, you go out of your way to find it in another store, still no joy.  You give up and find an alternative

... then some weeks/months later your much desired Branston/Mustard/Sardines etc turn up in new packaging!!

A bloomin' nuisance but increasingly common.  Do you think this might be the same problem?  Try emailing the makers of Panacur here

LOL...!

Bloomin' irritating isn't it...??? :)

H x :)
(Who is off up the co-op...to get more tinned tuna (unless it's been withdrawn for a make-over)...and then can't wait to watch X-Factor...! :))

Hi guys

Nothing sinister just a lack of stock at the manufacturers.

From experience these out of stocks seem to take quite a while to rectify which is frustrating for all concerned.

I have the expected date of supply on my computer at work but for the life of me cant remember off the top of my head.

Hope this helps
