My 'Safi' won Puppy bitch and Best Puppy in Breed today at her first show at 6 months and 3 days and was the youngest puppy entered.

Mum Inka at only her second CC show this year (since pups) won her second RCC this year.

Puppy dog was bred by me, (from maternal half sister to Inka and same father as Inka), with his new to showing owners (he was BPIB at Leeds).

Junior bitch beating Safi was won by Bella who has same Mum as Inka, and dog pups Mum.

Well done Barbara - so pleased for you

And Bella's sire, my Raider, won the other RCC, his 14th - so it really was a family affair!  Bella is the current top puppy in the breed, but she may not hang on to it with a few puppies coming out in the final third of the year.

If different pups win each time at the next few shows then hopefully she will.

Don't really think so, not early on anyway, as she is far less 'finished' than her mother was as a youngster.

I do see signs of her being an eye catching 'mover' like her double great grandmother Jozi.

I'm hoping Stuart may have got a decent photo for me, as she is a nightmare to photograph, either a total blur or in the camera, and if you stand her she gets bored and slouches.

Huge Congratulations.

I think he has taken quite a nice one - we've been going through photos today.

It was the classic Kris/Raider combination in the dogs, Jackie - you know, you did the same yourself!! :-)  Although sometimes it's the Raider/Kris combination, and I prefer it that way somehow... ;-)

Just got Uncle Stuarts pic, and love it.

Ness, know what you mean and if someone had said before I would do as I did I would have doubted it but you have to go with what you see in the class and lets face it on a good day they are both the very best examples of the breed.

Barbara, seen the photo, my she is impressive for 6 months.

I think the photographer must have photgraphed a different dog, as I never see her like that :)

We were trying to get pictures but she kept fidgeting, until she spotted a man carrying a bowl, getting water.  We kidnapped him, I stood behind her while he spoke to her, though I bet Stuart took a dozen to get one.

See the tearaway in question has now taken pride of place on your posts, wait till it is the one celebrating her first CC.

I am sad aren't I but it is such a nice photo ;)

Oh we are not going to get ahead of ourselves.

Can't wait to see how sisters have come on, one of them will be at Richmond, and we will hopefully have all three at the club show (assuming they don't do something silly and come in season).

We have three shows in October including a trip to Scotland so just hope she will hold out until November.

Oh, it is so exciting having a new puppy in the ring and no you are not sad, naturally proud after all what you went through it is not far short of producing a daughter, effort and cash wise.

With luck I will be at the NECGB show if not any of the others so look forward to it although I will be sulking because she did not manage a lad for me.

Think we had better stop using your thread for personal messages and get back to saying a bland congratulations.
