could you please tell me what the vet does when they casrtate a dog and how long will he feel poorly for.

They cut a hole in his scrotum and remove his testicules, some vets remove the scrotum too. The dog may feel sore for a week or so and may need to wear a hood collar to stop him licking. Jackie

I had 3 dogs castrated just before christmas. I don't know how he did it but there were no external stitches. I was very impressed!
