Has anyone noticed how after someone said on here the other day about downloading your own breed part of the catalogue they are now doing it for Manchester 2012 :D

Isn't only if you have a smart phone?

Oooooh...that will have repercussions :-)

You can download it to tablet, smartphone or laptop so I'm assuming you could then print it.

Ooh, was me talking about it the other day. £1 per breed, only available for download from 7AM on the day, so I guess that would take out the issue of people not bothering to go if they'd seen the catalogue beforehand.
Interesting, and good on them for trying something new!

Interesting but whenever do we leave as late as 7 am for a show LOL, so yes couldn't really be printed unless you carried a printer around with you.

7 am is no good to most people as they wold be on there way to the show there must be a catch like cost involved

It would suit me as I have a smart phone but only shows I leave as late as 7 for is Stafford ones and that's only because I live 10 minutes away :-)

Well it will work on my laptop and the people I travel with have a smart phone, but we would not be able to print it till we got home.!!!

But that's the point, isn't it? You can download it remotely and view on smartphone, but can't see it before most people would have prepared dogs and set off - and can't print copies for all your friends.

Was just saying how I can see it won't benefit people without a smartphone ad not likely to carry laptop and printer around :)
Yep, I like the idea of this I always seem to get to the catalogue stand when there's a que so one less thing to faff with at the show.

To me knowing who is there or not won't change whether I go ! especially with the cost of entries !
I never buy a catalogue at the moment! so if £1 only for the breed would do it

I think that will be more for a judge to not view b4 judging. Actually I feel that it should be later than that that you should be allowed to view

It will make no difference to me as once we are on the way to the show we are not going to turn round and go home cos of who has entered.!!!. Anyway in my breed we have nearly always the same exhibitors at EVERY show, cos we are a numerically small breed.
Our breed is rarely in the ring before about 2pm, so even a show 3 hours away we're not likely to set off before about 8am.
Could print several copies before we go...!!
For £1 I will try it although only breed sounds like covered and not any handling or stakes classes. If a judge wants to read, I assume they will need a friend who has entered to forward a copy as only someone entered for the show will get a copy. I guess if they really want to know who is entered, there are few difficulties in getting the catalogue and retiring to the WCs to check before judging commences! We are lucky to live close enough to some venues that we might just get before we leave but doubt it would change us going

Nice idea, but I'm just thinking what a pain it would be to try to read all that tiny print on smart phone so will stick with the catalogue.

Don't have or want a smartphone, refuse to take laptop and printer in caravan. I'll be sticking to buying a catalogue.

Me rtoo--what would I do without those stacks of old catalogues by the bedside.
Thats a fab idea, does anyone know what the procedure to do it is yet?
