Does anybody know where I can get a duo dog lead from? I have scoured the internet and have found one on an American site but was unable to order as they did not accept my debit card, I must be able to get one in this country surely! I am hoping it will solve my tangle problem and make walking more enjoyable for us all :) Sarah

Hi Sarah

They usually have some for sale on eBay. [link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2086454402]Try This[/link]

If you look under everything else and then scroll down until you come across pet supplies you should find one there.

Mason,

You can buy the bottom bit of the lead where you join them from Pets at home ( In Focus)as I saw them yesterday. thick it was around £6.50 it has 2 clips that link together with one strong ring.

Not sure if that is what you are looking for but it allows for one lead.

Looked quite good, I was thinking of getting it.

Thanks everyone, I have managed to get one at pets at home, only £4.50 so I am chuffed :D I may take you up on your offer though Schip as it was the last one in the shop, and I will probably need a spare as some days I cant remember where I put anything, especially my keys :D My kids put it down to my age, and they are probably right :D thanks again for all the help. Sarah

Awwww, you can never have too many, just like with leashes :D :D I just pick them up at the shops when I see a good lightweight one. They used to be very difficult to find. Heavy thick leather ones were basically the norm up until a couple of years ago. So I'm always happy to find thin nylon ones. I think I have about 8 or so around here. Actually hubby 'made' my favorite one out of a woven belt.
They're also handy to hook the 'girls' into their bike trailor to make sure no one jumps out!! :) :D

I have a fab double lead made by a company called 'farlar' it cost around £20 online and has a bungi style lead..brass swivel fittings and is strong enough for two husky pups...
I cant remember the site though... but farlar comes up on search engines

Sara, I do the same with poo bags and the plastic picker up ('cos I can't bear the feeling of hot poo). Got bags all over the place, in the cars & van, in all pockets, by the kennel, at my parents, you name it, there's a poo bag tucked in there.

Oh Success!! doesnt it feel good! Took both pups for walkies in the woods today, it was great, no tangles and everyone going in the same direction. dont know how people manage without one. :D will have to get another to leave in the car though, as my brain is not always in gear and I will probably forget to take it with me one day!!! Yes I have poo bags in every pocket in every coat I possess, in the car, kitchen draw full of em, at friends houses, I even found some stuffed in Hubbys underwear draw!! Heaven only knows how they got in there!! :D Sarah

Good luck with the coupler. I decided to stop using one for Ben and Abby when Abby would insist on sniffing the spot Ben had just been sniffing...just as he was marking it!:(

i know that you say you have a coupler, but i have just seen an ad in"your dog" for a super twister.it is one handle with a rotating action so the leashes dont get tangled, and the leash's are a full length.the 2 leashes that it comes with are leather, and it is priced at 15 pounds+1.95 p&p.the web site is www.supertwister.co.uk

Thanks Mel, I will have a look at it. On the whole we are getting on quite well with the coupler, they seem to have got used to walking side by side. Its quite funny really, now they are a bit older and are good on the re-call with the whistle they are aloud to run off lead for short periods but they stick together still, shoulder to shoulder, if one stops for a wee the other just runs in a circle until they have finished, then of they go again. I reckon I could enter them for the doggy equivalent of the 3 legged race :D Thanks again, I will definately have a look at it. Sarah :)
