Flippin heck, I've never seen such low entries. My breed (Irish Setters) can usually draw over 100 and even that is reduced from 5 or 6 years ago. I can believe an entry of 67 dogs.

We have no tickets and a low entry of 11 in one breed
Tickets and I think 77 in the other breed, which is low for that breed.

Ditto
This is our first year with CC's, but none here, and I hadn't realised it would have this much impact on our breed entry numbers...

Marianne, how long do they take to recover, and do some champ shows just stop offering breed classes?
Our breed club has also decided to stop allocating their award points for placings at Open shows too so it seems that entries are being hit from several directions...

One of our breeds has a low entry of 31 with tickets! Our other breed with no tickets has 6!
I think that mostley it's the cost of fuel, we used to go up to SKC for both Ch shows every year ( Wales ) but just can't afford the fuel bill now, i just can't justify £150.

Our Entry is about average for SKC.

Our entry is a few up on last August SKC, our entries are growing all the time, but about 40 or so less than shows in England.

I wish we were £150 to go to a show, we were over £300 to Malvern and back! we're going to Richmond, don't even want to think what the fuel for that will be, oh for the day when we move back to England.

We were down at Crick at the wkd, cost me nearly £300 in all!

There's no wonder people who don't show dogs think that we are mad!

I go to most of the champ shows from Scotland on the coach as I don't drive but they only go to a limited number. This makes the cost reasonable. Would like to go to some other shows but as the coach doesn't go to them then I can save money. It would be good for people if they were able to share costs and travel together think this would be a way of keeping your cost of travel down.

Sharing or a bus is no use in our case as we take all of our lot with us (7 Frenchies and 2 Boxers), also when we go to England we generally take the caravan and go for a few days.
