Right off to National Gundog now.  99% sure I'll be at the end of the line up as I have a bald SWD but looking forward to seeing friends that I don't see as often as I'd like to.

Great day was had.  Few dogs that I bred did brilliantly especially a 9 year old who got BB!  Lovely to see a SWD win BIS too :)

Well done sounds like you had a lovely day.  Its my first time to Malvern and the show ground is just so beautiful with the views of the hills.  The weather also pretty much held off for us so I was really pleased.  Our 2 pups qualified for crufts but most importantly we all enjoyed our day and its great to meet up with friends in the breed.

I got my third CC and BOB with one of my boys and won JD with the other. Really good day. Thought the BIS SWD looked magnificent.

Fab results crinklecut, we are SO not in your league! I was pleased to get 2nd in GD with my boy, it was a lovely day out.

Oh yes! Just reread your post crinklecut. Well done. I had a hectic day and ended up handling 2 welshies ad well as my own dog.  Very pleased as won the class with the young boy I handled and came 2nd with the bitch I handled :)

lol, it has not come easy. He won his 1st CC at Nat Gundog in 2009, the second at the same show in 2010 and then the third on Saturday.
A long wait but so worth it! Unfortunately, in my breed there are two colours but most judges favour the blacks. It usually takes a person who has owned a liver to award them a ticket.

hope the celebrations are trundling along nicely then--great news and inspiring for a newbie like me :)

I love National Gundog, it's local for us which is a bonus too.

Last year we qualified our boy for Crufts for the first time and this year he was 3rd in a nice Open Dog class and therefore gets his Stud Book Number.

Plus lots of friends and the weather held.. Really good day!
