Can't work out what a PWC is but no matter, it is not unusual for a pup of 6months to chew, new teeth no yet settled down. Have the vet check the teeth and mouth to make sure everything is as it should be, and then give her something of her own to chew. If you have to use a cage when you can't supervise. JH

If you had a human baby you would provide all the stuff for teething ie rings rusks bonjeli for the gum pain and yet we dont understand that a baby dog has the same problems just punish or shout for chewing.
So A nice big marrow bone to chew on would be great or if its a little dog improvise,I know someone who puts all their old tights inside another and fastens them up tight to make a chew. Also some chew when bored so in that case provide stimulation.

Matie, If the puppy is chewing when the owner is out or taking a bath, then put the pup into a cage with a chew, is what I meant to say. JH

Blame it all on my long nails Mattie, I did not do it to make any one look silly but once you had pointed it out I thought I had better change it.J

Guest, did you mean 1 1/2 years old or six months old? And what is a PWC??? You can join by signing up for membership...there's no cost. :) Then you can answer questions... :)

Does she have her own toys to play with and do you give them to her as a substitute when you take the 'wrong' ones away?

Your little brother's toys might be too irresistable. It would probably help if she was not allowed in the room when they're down on the floor or you could help out your stepmom by picking them up when they're not in use. Chewing on a young child's toys might not be safe for your dog.
hth a bit,
toodles
