Hi Ok thanks, its just that she is swollen up as though she was going to pass a puppy. More swollen than she was when she was on heat! I just could not remember if they did swell up before they gave birth.

Thanks for your comment thats helped me a bit.

Mandy x

They do stay fairly swollen during pregnancy but if you are noticing such a difference then I too would think that she was almost ready to give birth.

Hey White lilly, Yes she is very very swollen and very very soft, just like a babay's bottom. She has not lost any thing jelly like yet, but she is very very very quiet not like her, as she is always jumping about. Her temp is 37 to 39*O so i think she will start soon. she is now day 60 with her first date and 57 with her second date so i dont know which one to go by. Thanks white lilly good to hear from you again. x x

make sure you take her temp at same time each day to get a good reading of whats happening.some girls are so clean its hard to know ther looseing any string/mucus,if she was to have them today all would be fine so try not to worry :) my girls have all gone below 36 before labour and went as low as 34.? :O you only have a few days even if she goes to her dates all the best x

also i found that the morning reading was lower then the afternoon reading and then it would drop again at night, its when you take a few low reading and your gut feeling tell's you ok the next 24h LOL x

They also go soft and squishy between the anus and the vulva when they are getting towards the end of the pregnancy.

Looks like she may have them early but you are within the safe time so no need to worry.

How is she doing today

Honey have you had any arrivals yet?

Our girl went like jelly between the tail and vulva and swelled up a lot with clear stringy fluid going everywhere for a few days before anything exciting started to happen
