Hi a friend of mine has a lovely bull mastiff dog aged about 15 months and is looking to get another dog as a companion. Can anyone recommend some breeds. He is really great and got on well with my akita bitch, which in turn gets on really well with my lab bitch.

Any help would be appreciated

Agree, they are going to have similar size, style of play, and many other traits in common thast will mean they understand each other best.

Problem with another Bull Mastiff is my friend would have trouble handling two of them. Any other suggestions.
