My parents have just moved house and my ex sister in law has just moved into their house. They were clearing out the shed and found my keyring collection I had since age 10 and my dad has thrown them. Not just thrown them in the bin...taken them to the skip. Im gutted. I was only saying to someone the other day I didnt know where it was and I wanted to show them to my boyfriend....gutted isnt the word. Think I made dad feel guilty though because all he had to do was ring me and ask if I wanted them.

Yes definitley give it a go. Ask Dad where he threw them or maybe could he come with you ? fingers crossed for you but get down there quick sharp

No sorry. I wouldn't think you'll recover them now. Given that it will be the next day before you can go I think they'll be long gone. At our tip the rubbish is thrown into large open topped metal containers and crushed at the end of each day. I wouldn't want to rake through other peoples waste for anything, I'd imagine there are all sorts of hygiene and health and safety issues that you probably aren't allowed.

I got them back!!! The men at the tip were really helpful and helped us look and got every single one of them back for me! Relief is not the word!
