Ive just move to cornwall i cant find a decent shop that sells barf diet,

Can anyone help me out?

It isnt really something you buy in a shop, which is why you arent finding it.

That said, more and more companies are offering products that fit in with a raw or BARF diet, theres a few different companies doing it now but their products are all either chunks of raw meat, or minced raw meat, some of which is blended with vegetables/offal etc.

Most raw dog food suppliers tend to supply direct via their websites - I personally use Anglian Meat Products 'Prize choice' range but there are others (DAF, Landywoods, Berriewoods?? etc) around.

Does anglian do large meaty bones?or chicken carasses?

I sometimes buy pet mince from a butchers in Callington when visiting the area and there is a good pet shop that sells Prize Choice meats there too, on an industrial estate if I remember rightly.  Also, if you travel on the A30 nr Okehampton the farm shop next to Mole Avon has been recommended several times on a raw feeding site - I think it's called Farmer Luxtons

Finally, I've heard that an abattoir near Plymouth sells stuff for pets too.  It might just be a question of ringing around, you have plenty of farm shops in the area you can try :)

ive been to some pet shop etc,and i was told they get it from them,but they get the bones and sliced tongue up north.wouldnt say where! my shephards love green tripe,sliced tongue and large meaty bones

There is a place in Grampound (about 6 miles out of Truro) called Fal Valley Pets. They would deffo be worth a call....

Yes, they do both. Also wings & necks plus tripe chunks, beef chunks and various minces. You do need to place a minimum order so need a fair sized freezer.

found a place on the net that does real tripe,had a delivery last week and boy the dogs liked it!its not like the filled water stuff from around here!

Natural Instinct will deliver to you free of charge if you are able to order 40kg.  It is a fabulous product IMHO.

Natural Instinct are rather expensive,ive found a company that sell tripe at 39p per lb.found them off facebook.got a box of large ox tails for £5
